Gordon's Primary Work History

Apart from picking berries, working for the City of Beaverton counting cars at intersections and a bag-boy at Fred Meyer in his teen years, Gordon's background consists of being an aircraft mechanic 1971-1974 in the Air Force . . .

. . . and a nuclear-reactor coolant-pump mechanic for 8 years at a large Portland manufacturing plant (Bingham-Willamette) that broke the union and was bought-out in the early 80's . . .

. . .which ultimately led to Gordon's changing directions and entering the building trades. Gordon & Pam also owned and operated a Christian music & bookstore in Tigard for several years in the 70s.

Providence would eventually steer Gordon into the specialty-field of door installation & repair 25 years ago this year. 5 years later, he began his own company, Anderson Door Mechanics.
